Can I qualify?

To be eligible for our at-home program, you must:

  • Be 18 or older
  • Live in, or be located during sessions in, Missouri or Illinois
  • Have a valid shipping address in that state
  • Be diagnosed by one of our clinicians with a condition at-home ketamine can help, such as anxiety, depression or PTSD

Start with our short assessment, then book a 30-minute Zoom visit with a licensed clinician. They'll answer your questions and decide whether treatment is a safe fit. If it is, your medication ships directly to your home.

Who is on my care team?

Your care team includes a licensed prescribing clinician, a session guide and our patient support team. Behind them are neurologists and psychiatry providers on our staff, plus referring therapists if you’d like to connect with one.

Your clinician builds your treatment plan, checks in on your progress and adjusts your care as needed. Your guide helps you prepare for each session and make sense of it afterward. Our support team is available by text, email and chat.

How does ketamine help?

Ketamine works differently from daily antidepressants. It acts on glutamate, the brain's main signaling chemical, and research suggests it can quickly encourage new connections between brain cells. This is called neuroplasticity.

Many people also describe the session itself as a chance to see their thoughts from a new angle. Your guide helps you turn that into lasting change. Read more about the science.

When will I start to feel different?

Everyone is different. Some people notice changes after their first few sessions; for others it takes longer. Your clinician tracks your progress with standard questionnaires and adjusts your plan along the way.

What is a session like?

The experience of ketamine therapy is usually gentle, calm and inward-looking. Many people describe feeling light or dreamlike. A session typically lasts about an hour, in the comfort of your own home.

Plan to rest afterward, and don't drive or operate machinery until your clinician says it's safe. We ask that a trusted adult be nearby for your first sessions.

How do I pay?

We are self-pay and don't bill insurance directly. After your first visit we can give you a superbill (an itemized receipt) to submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Many people use HSA or FSA cards for treatment. Eligibility is decided by your card provider. See payment options.

Who decides my dose?

Your clinician reviews your health history, current medications and goals at your 30-minute Zoom visit, then prescribes a starting dose that's right for you. After each session you'll share how it went, so your clinician can adjust your dose if needed.

Is at-home ketamine safe?

Ketamine has a long safety record when prescribed and used as directed, but it isn't right for everyone. Every patient is screened by a licensed clinician first. We check blood pressure before each session, ask that a trusted adult be nearby for your first sessions, and give clear rules for rest and driving.

Ketamine may not be appropriate if you have a history of psychosis, bipolar I disorder, uncontrolled high blood pressure, certain heart conditions, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Full safety information.

Where do you operate?

We currently treat patients in Missouri and Illinois. You need to be located in one of these states during your Zoom visit and sessions, with a shipping address there. More states are coming soon. Pick your state in the assessment to join the waitlist.

Can I work with a therapist?

Yes. You can add ketamine-assisted psychotherapy with a licensed therapist by video, before, during and after sessions. Already working with someone you trust? Bring your own therapist, and we’ll handle the medical side and coordinate with them. See therapist options.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

If your clinician decides treatment isn't a safe or appropriate fit for you, you'll get a full refund.
